About Us

Healdton New Beginnings is a church with humble beginnings.  Our first service was 9/11/2022 under the Pavilion at the Healdton Lake.  We met at the Pavilion for 5 weeks.  Pastor Tommy made the comment that he was a pastor without a pulpit.  As the weather began to get cooler people would ask Pastor Tommy what we were going to do.  He simply replied, "I don't know, but God will provide." On 10/8/22 we spoke with the owner of a building in Healdton.  The next day during church at the Pavilion we voted to make an offer.  The owner not only accepted our offer but let us use the building before the loan went through. On 10/16/22 we had our first service in OUR building.  From that point on, God has continued to provide for EVERY need that we have had.  From a new heat/air unit to new hot water heater, to 2 buses.  It is absolutely amazing to see God at work.  God truly is our provider. Our Jehovah Jireh.  We continued to work on the building.  We added onto the stage, gutted and redone the fellowship hall including reinforcing the rafters and all new sheetrock.  Before we could get the remodel of our building done God had other plans.  Pastor Tommy received a phone call in October about the possibility of us receiving another facility.  On Oct 28, 2024 we went and met with congregation of Healdton Freewill Baptist and they wanted to bless us with their facility.  And on Nov 10, 2024 we had our 1st service at our new location.  And that is how 2 families became 1.
